This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Residential Projects Estimator, Commercial Construction Estimator or experienced Production and Procurement Estimator to be influential in winning projects and managing cost control and procurement strategies for Architecturally Designed Premium-Build Residential Construction and Development Projects.

The Construction Estimator – Developments & Custom Residential will also work closely with the leadership team, building designers and suppliers to streamline the sales and production estimating and procurement/build cost containment processes.  You will prepare concept and budget estimates to guide design development and execute accurate sales estimating and production / construction estimating.

Facilitate Custom Home Building Approvals Processes, Selections, and Construction for Architecturally Designed Premium Quality Homes.

Supporting the Building Project and Construction Delivery Teams, you will play a key role, liaising directly with clients to understand, define and facilitate architectural design concepts and aesthetic décor and materials selections. Your objectives will be to leverage the company’s award-winning performance and expertise to create and enhance the client experience and the relationships with discerning prestige clients and their projects.

Suitable candidates will likely have minimum 5 years’ local experience in a similar role within new home building and construction combined with an understanding of project coordination principles and build methodologies in Adelaide.  Knowledge of interior design and a flair for décor combined with experience in digital project administration programs and systems may be well regarded. You will apply your knowledge, ingenuity, and resourcefulness to build on the company’s significant capability and proven performance profile. Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Site Manager in Custom-Designed Home Building.
  • Demonstrated stable employment history and ability to work autonomously.
  • Supervisor’s License for minimum two-storey residential construction.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
  • Track record managing Custom Home Building contracts from $750k to around $1.5million.
  • Proficiency in structures, finishes and associated site works typical of Custom Home Builds.
  • Experience in managing a variety of construction methodologies and servicing discerning clients.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer skills and electronic construction site administration; experience with SiteBook may be well regarded.
  • Clear communication with accurate and well-documented Site Instructions.
  • Practical understanding of construction building and scheduling methodologies.
  • Insight into client expectations, project procedures, and desired outcomes.
